Lee Turnbull is originally from the U.K and has been Stateside since 2010. Having lived in numerous U.S cities from San Francisco to Chicago in his first few years, Lee decided to settle down in southern California in 2012.
Lee has always been an avid soccer fan and player and his background is originally in behavioral science which brought Lee work as an animal behaviorist working all over the world.
He began coaching in 2013 at Shalhevet High School in Los Angeles and after 2 years he was scouted to be head coach for the international Macabbi games representing Los Angeles taking the gold medal in both 2016 and 2017.
2016/17 was Lee's first year with Strikers OC. After taking over a team with a 0-1-8 record he turned their fortunes around the next season with a 4-2-2 record and after one short year he was recruited by the Blues where he is thrilled to be continuing his work.
Lee's coaching emphasis is solely based in positive reinforcement and making each individual player the best they can possibly be. He creates a fun, hard working environment and always makes sure his girls remain positive and honest.
