Diego Oliveros was born in Bogota, Colombia. As a kid, he moved around a lot; of course he lived in Colombia but also spent time living in Mexico, Saudi Arabia and the USA. Diego considers himself to be lucky to have learned soccer through different perspectives, styles & cultures.

At the age of 16 Diego moved back to Colombia and played soccer for his hometown team's youth academy, in Independiente Santa Fe. Five years later he moved back to the USA and has been coaching youth soccer ever since.

Diego enjoys helping young soccer athletes develop a love and passion for the sport, while creating the right environment in which they are both challenged and encouraged, to allow for growth.
